Join us to celebrate Sydenham Film Club’s achievements over the last year, watch a classic short documentary by Werner Herzog, and elect new members to the Board.

It’s a great opportunity to meet everyone involved in the Film Club, and have your say on its future. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.

Beautifully shot on 16mm and with an ethereal soundtrack by German band Popul Vuh, The Great Ecstasy of Woodcarver Steiner is Werner Herzog’s hypnotic study of Walter Steiner – champion ski-flier, thrill seeker, and meditative carpenter.
